Seven Tips for Improving Instructional Skills: Reminders for Teachers

By Walter R. Jacobs Jr.

This publication focuses on ways to improve teaching skills -- often overlooked in the daily give-and-take of the classroom. Each tip is based on the author's years of experience in observing teachers and classrooms and on experts' opinions and research. Teachers can use these seven tips in answering an important question: “What would I wish for my students long after they have left me?”
