Assessments & Surveys

Fran Cowart
Coordinator of Assessment

High Schools That Work (HSTW), Technology Centers That Work (TCTW) and Making Middle Grades Work (MMGW) are data-driven, research-based school improvement initiatives. Using assessment and survey tools, participating states, districts and schools can establish baseline data, identify areas for improvement and track progress over time.

Annual Site Progress Reports

Completing the HSTW, TCTW or MMGW Annual Site Progress Report allows educators at schools and centers to annually reflect on their improvement efforts, evaluate their progress in implementing the HSTW, TCTW or MMGW design and discuss what they need to do for continued improvement. SREB staff uses the report data to determine priorities for school and center support, topics for national workshops and speakers for the annual Staff Development Conference. 2015-2016 reports should be completed online by November 30, 2015.
