JOIN US FOR THE NEXT SESSIONDownload the Leadership Curriculum Module Application and Registration Form, Winter 2010. SREB offers training for principals and others who guide the professional development of teachers to improve school and classroom practices and advance student achievement. Based on SREB's Crosswalk of SREB Leadership Curriculum Models, Critical Success Factors and Educational Leadership Policy Standards (ISLLC 2008), the training curriculum has been developed to build knowledge and skills in instructional leadership. Train-the-trainer sessions of the SREB Leadership Curriculum Modules will be offered during three separate module training sessions in winter 2010 to meet your professional development needs. The January 25 – 27, 2010, and February 17 – 19, 2010, trainings will be held at SREB Headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia. The March 8 – 10, 2010, training will be held at the Marriott Perimeter Center in Atlanta, Georgia. In addition to being trained to teach others, participants will receive guides, presentation tools, handouts, reading materials and recommended readings to support training in their schools and districts. The materials are solidly grounded in current research and based on the substantial input of school leaders who tell SREB that their needs are great, their time is limited and their resources are scarce. The Leadership Curriculum Modules can address these concerns and make a difference in school improvement without costing the school an abundance of money or time.
