Kathleen O'Neill, director of the Learning-Centered Leadership Program, is responsible for overall planning, design and implementation of the initiative's programs and projects. She plans professional development and nontraditional leadership preparation models for schools and school districts in urban and low-performing middle grades and high schools. (404) 879-5529. Leslie Hazle Bussey, director of research for the program, conducts and publishes research studies on topics relevant to preparation and development of school principals; tracks states' progress on redesigning principal preparation, licensure and professional development; and prepares biennial policy reports. Kristie Clements, director of module development, is responsible for the development of training modules and related professional development workshops and electronic training opportunities.
