Data Analyst/Research Associate, Education Data Services
Lisa Martin joined the Southern Regional Education Board in 2012 as a data analyst/research associate for the data services team. For 11 years, she has managed data to identify demographic characteristics to measure effect size and efficiency of programs, and to ensure compliance with contract terms and regulations determined by nonprofit, private and government partners. While at SREB, Lisa has worked on the SREB-State Data Exchange Survey and Indicators Report, the SREB Fact Book on Higher Education, State Featured Facts, and Fact Book Bulletins. She was awarded the 2015 Julia M. Duckwall Scholarship from the Association for Institutional Research (AIR) for her work at SREB. Prior to SREB, Lisa was a teacher and curriculum director. She was also a program manager and analyst for a community revitalization project. Lisa holds a bachelor’s in sociology from Colgate University, a master’s in sociology from Rutgers University and a master’s in public administration from Georgia State University.
