Program Description The semester-long program prepares participants to facilitate online courses and establish a local online learning program. A catalogue of online curriculum workshops that focuses on specific K-12 subject areas and grade levels (reading, math, science, social studies and technology) that are available for use in local online professional development programs is at the Web Site. Courses include an online ETLO forum to provide continuing support to the participants during the development and running of online courses, including rapid responses to any questions for a full year beyond the course. As part of facilitator training, each participant delivers one EDC curriculum course. They also offer training to develop online courses with facilitation by course developers. Content can be licensed. Courses are research-based, and content is aligned with state standards.

Program Description CSE provides individual schools and school districts with customized services. Program Description Most courses are directed to teachers seeking certification, especially in California, but the course catalog provides a wide range of topics available for continuing education units. Most courses run five or six weeks and are instructor-led, with 20 students or less. The catalog shows a wide range of topics, especially for California teachers. The organization has been providing professional development since 1996.

Program Description JASON Academy science courses are five weeks long and are offered through several universities. Asynchronous online courses are available for middle grades, high school and teachers of young students. Face-to-face and coaching workshops also are available. Each course requires 6 - 10 hours per week (30 -50 hours per course), which includes reading online text, exploring course-related Web sites, discussion boards for networking and collaborative discussion, assignments, chat sessions, and preparing and conducting student activities.

Program Description MarcoPolo offers FREE onsite and online training for teachers and trainers to use the Web resources of the MarcoPolo portal. ArtsEdge, EconEdLink, EDSITEment, Illuminations, ReadWriteThink, Science NetLinks and Xpeditions are all partners, with interactive student materials, Web resources and lesson plans linked to the portal and searchable through the MarcoPolo Search Engine.
