Standards for Online Professional Development

Teachers need high-quality professional development to help their students meet states' new academic standards and the Challenge to Lead goal of having a high-quality teacher in every classroom. Online instruction gives them “anytime, anywhere” access to the professional development courses and workshops they need. This publication outlines specific guidelines to help schools and states plan and evaluate online programs.
