Making Middle Grades Work Staff

Yvonne Thayer
Yvonne is senior director for Making Middle Grades Work and Special Projects. She coordinates the state networks and contracted sites in MMGW. She is the project director for contracts with the Appalachia Regional Comprehensive Center and the Mid-Atlantic Comprehensive Center - both working with state departments of education. She directs the Wachovia leadership development project that builds leadership capacity in HSTW/MMGW sites.

Nancy Blair
Nancy is a School Improvement consultant with MMGW Contracted Schools.

Toni Eubank
Toni is director of MMGW State Network (the middle grades component of the High Schools That Work initiative). She coordinates, schedules and directs the MMGW staff in data collection, scheduling of orientations, site development workshops, Middle Grades Assessment, training, and technical assistance and review visits for MMGW sites throughout the network.

Barbara is associate director of MMGW State Network. Barbara also works with middle grades schools in Louisiana and Iowa as they adopt MMGW as a comprehensive school improvement design.
