Representative DeBerry automatically serves on the Council by virtue of being a legislative member of the Board and is the vice chair of the Legislative Advisory Council. Senator Charlotte Burks of Monterey, Senator Reginald Tate of Memphis, Representative Mark L. Maddox of Dresden, and Representative Eddie Yokley of Greeneville are gubernatorial appointees to the Council.
