John is the Community Relations Lead for Deloitte’s Tennessee Market. He provides local leadership for social impact initiatives, volunteer programs, internal communications, sustainability and well-being.   In this role, he has been an active community supporter of the Metro Nashville Public Schools and the Academies of Nashville.   He partners with three academies and serves in numerous leadership roles within the Academies.  John began his career in higher education working as the Director of Student Life and House and Associate Dean of Students at William Penn College. He has over 25 years of experience working in and with education.  

In addition, John currently serves on the board of directors for the following organizations: National Career Academy Coalition, Junior Achievement of Middle Tennessee, March of Dimes – Middle Tennessee Market Board, The PENCIL Foundation and United Way of Greater Nashville.  He is a former Commissioner for the Metro Nashville Airport Authority.
