2022 AC Teacher Training Institutes
SREB has made it simpler and more cost-effective than ever to adopt and sustain AC programs with our virtual Teacher Training Institutes. No need for travel – AC teachers learn from their own schools’ labs!
How It Works
- New AC teachers are required to attend the virtual Teacher Training Institute for their course.
- Experienced AC teachers who are teaching courses 2 and/or 3 in their AC curriculum for the first time are required to attend the Experienced TTI.
Costs
- New teacher training: $3,950 per teacher. This cost includes TTI Parts I and II and New Teacher Community of Practice sessions.
- Experienced teacher training: $2,950 per teacher. This cost includes content-specific TTI sessions for courses 2 and/or 3 and Experienced Teacher Community of Practice sessions.
Location
All TTI sessions are held online on SREB’s secure Zoom platform.
Must-Haves for TTI Success
- Computer and internet access
- Access to a school laboratory
- Purchase and receipt of required AC equipment and supplies prior to beginning training (order early to avoid supply chain issues!)
- A paper composition notebook
- Attendance and participation* at each session
* Are you an individual with a disability or a disabled veteran? You may request reasonable accommodations if you are unable or limited in your ability to access our trainings. Contact Beth Green at beth.green@sreb.org.
