The Southern Regional Education Board will hold its 68th annual Legislative Work Conference on June 22 - 24 at the Omni Richmond Hotel in Richmond, Virginia. This conference has been called “America’s best education work session for legislators.” 

Legislative leaders will participate in sessions that address various education topics including teacher preparation, college and career readiness, raising workforce skill levels and aligning programs to support this effort, and successes and challenges of SREB states as they strive to meet the Challenge to Lead 2020 Goals for Education.

The conference will begin with an afternoon session at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 22 and will adjourn by 11:30 a.m. on Monday, June 24, prior to the luncheon provided for all guests. 

SREB will make your hotel reservation and will cover the cost of the room for the required nights as well as the cost of group meals, and will waive registration fees. (Please let us know if you will need additional nights.)
