Conference Cancellation and COVID-19 Notice
With many things still unsettled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, including when people will be able to travel again, SREB’s conference team has made the difficult decision to cancel the 2020 Making Schools Work Conference to ensure the health and safety of our attendees, presenters and conference partners in New Orleans.
Individuals who have already registered for the conference will receive an email from our eShow event management system with instructions on how to apply their current registration fees to the 2021 Making Schools Work Conference at the Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center in Nashville, July 6-9, or receive a full refund.
For attendees who have already made hotel reservations, Connections Housing will automatically cancel all reservations with no penalty. A cancellation notification will be sent to the email address provided when reservations were booked. Learn more on our Conference Hotels page.
Though disappointed to have to cancel this year’s event, we are moving forward with planning the 2021 conference. In the months to come, we hope you’ll join us for a series of free virtual events with some of our featured speakers as a warm-up to conference activities in Nashville.
