Conference attendees who wish to fly should consider using Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport, located just 9 miles south of downtown Baltimore and 32 miles northeast of Washington, D.C. Flights to BWI typically cost less than other airports in the region.

BWI is a major hub for Southwest Airlines, the low-cost carrier. Other carriers serving BWI include Alaska Airlines, Allegiant Air, American Airlines, Delta, jetBlue, Spirit, United and WOW.

SREB Delta Meeting Code NMR6F

SREB partners with Delta Air Lines to provide travel to conference attendees at a discounted rate. Reservations and ticketing are available via www.delta.com or by calling Delta Meeting Network Reservations at (800) 328-1111. Please note that a direct ticketing charge will apply for booking by phone. When booking online, select BOOK, click on Advanced Search and enter NMR6F in the Meeting Event Code box.

MTA Light Rail

Light Rail Service (view or download the map) is provided by the Maryland Transit Administration to and from BWI Marshall Airport, with a stop conveniently located at the Baltimore Convention Center. The BWI Light Rail Station is located immediately outside the lower level of the terminal building, adjacent to Concourse E.

BWI Airport Taxi

BWI Airport Taxi is the exclusive supplier of taxi transportation services to BWI Marshall Airport. Taxicabs are stationed at the airport 24 hours a day.

No reservations are needed to access services. Cabs are on-site waiting at the curb just outside of the baggage claim areas. Many vehicles are equipped to transport wheelchairs. If you require a wheelchair van, it is suggested that you phone ahead to ensure availability: (410) 859-1100.

The approximate cost of a one-way cab to the Baltimore Inner Harbor is $35.00.

Rental Cars

BWI Marshall Airport’s rental car facility provides a one-stop rental car station for customers. A free shuttle service carries customers to and from the airport approximately every 10 minutes. Passengers arriving on flights should take the free shuttle from the lower level terminal for a 10-minute ride to the new facility. When returning your rental vehicle, look for highway directional signs to the facility. The Car Rental Facility is located at 7432 New Ridge Rd. Hanover, MD 21076.

App-Based Ride-Sharing Services

App-based ride-sharing services like Uber and Lyft pick up and drop off passengers at the terminal curbs on the Departures/Ticketing Level of BWI Marshall Airport between Doors 9 and 11.
