Our industry tours are great opportunities for our participants to get to see Nashville AND bring back incredibly cool ideas for their schools. However, we wouldn’t be able to bring you awesome tours like these without PENCIL and all of its partners.

This industry tour offers educators an immersive experience in project-based learning and the chance to see how a renowned institution like the Country Music Hall of Fame has successfully partnered with local schools to enhance student learning through authentic, hands-on experiences.

 

Participants will be transported from the Opryland Hotel to the Country Music Hall of Fame to begin the day with a crash course in project-based learning with Nashville Hub, a program of Alignment Nashville, then hear from leaders at the Country Music Hall of Fame on how they have collaborated with local schools. Participants will receive a guided tour of the museum, and finally, participants will have the opportunity to join in a follow-up session with Nashville Hub during the conference to take a deeper dive into the work and plan their next steps.
