Transitions Into and Within the Workforce

States need to provide more young people with an education that connects the classroom with the workplace and prepares them for success in postsecondary education and in-demand careers. This session will focus on building bridges from secondary schools to postsecondary institutions and the workplace by creating rigorous, relevant career pathways driven by labor market demand. Topics will include strategic partnerships, career and college counseling, credentials of value and adult education.
