Hiram, Marietta or McEachern High School students can jump start their healthcare careers by participating in Wellstar’s Nursing Career Pathway while earning their high school diplomas.

These informational brochures explain how eligible students can complete health sciences prerequisite courses in high school – up to 26 hours of dual college and high school credit, paid for by Georgia’s Dual Enrollment program and Hope Scholarships – plus participate in Wellstar career experiences in preparation for the Licensed Practical Nurse program at Chattahoochee Technical College.

Wellstar Nursing Career Pathway participants can learn and earn on the road to nursing credentials and degrees. High school graduates of the program are guaranteed interviews at Wellstar for Certified Nursing Assistant positions.

Students can then seamlessly progress from the LPN to a Registered Nurse/Associate of Science in Nursing degree at Chattahoochee Tech and onward to a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree at Georgia Highlands College.
