Re-Engaging Adult Learners
Mississippi's Complete to Compete Campaign
“Complete 2 Compete” is a partnership between the eight public universities, 15 community colleges, and one medical center in MS. As part of C2C, the Mississippi Institutions of Higher Learning and the Mississippi Community College Board partnered together to identify adult non-completers, categorize adults into target groups, launch a website and comprehensive marketing campaign, and provide support services to help adults complete their degrees.
This webinar, led by MS IHL staff, provided an overview of how the C2C program was developed and implemented. Presenters shared how they identified student barriers, developed effective adult learner policies, and tracked data for the eight Mississippi public universities. Presenters also discussed grant funding sources, adult learner grants, best practices, and lessons learned.
