Position Description

This position requires an individual with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, shift to new projects quickly and work on multiple assignments with speed and accuracy. This position reports directly to the Vice President for State Services. While the individual will assist the vice president directly, the individual will also be an integral part of the vice president’s team. This position carries considerable responsibility, and SREB is looking for a self-directed, hard-working candidate with the capacity for self-improvement.

Chief Editor

Position Description

SREB’s chief editor is responsible for ensuring that SREB print and electronic communications are clearly written and accurately edited. The chief editor also creates content about SREB programs for print, web, news media and social media.

Position Description

SREB seeks an experienced policy analyst with a proven track-record in analyzing education data and policy and in communicating complex policy issues to a variety of constituencies. The successful candidate will be able to research, analyze, synthesize, and communicate complex education policy issues clearly.
