Christine Oliver joined the Southern Regional Education Board in 2016 as the digital communications specialist. She brings several years of professional communications experience in education and nonprofit organizations. Prior to SREB, Christine worked as a communications analyst for one of the largest public school districts in the country. She received a bachelor’s in communications from the University of Alabama and a master’s in integrated marketing communication from Florida State University.
Beth Day joined the Southern Region Education Board in 2012 as communications director, bringing 25 years of experience leading strategic communications in education and nonprofit organizations. Prior to joining SREB, Beth served as vice president of the Atlanta Regional Council for Higher Education.
Matia Edwards joined the Southern Regional Education Board as chief editor on the communications team, supporting the editorial work of the organization. In this capacity, she ensures that SREB materials comply with established editorial style, collaborates with staff authors to revise drafts and finalize manuscripts, and manages SREB’s internal newsletter. She brings more than 16 years of work experience in communications and marketing.
