U.S. copyright law allows “fair use” of education-related materials for educational, noncommercial purposes. Thus, SREB does not grant permission to copy entire documents or to use any SREB print or Web material for commercial gain. Short excerpts for textbooks, however, are permissible with the expressed written permission of SREB and an approved SREB citation. For other routine requests, typically from a teacher or nonprofit that will be using a short excerpt for noncommercial purposes, SREB must provide permission.
Photocopying: SREB does not encourage photocopies. For hardcopies, visit SREB Publications Online Order Request Form.
For all requests, contact Matia Edwards.
