Profile

Beth Green joined the Southern Regional Education Board in 2007 as a school improvement consultant and assumed an additional assignment as a project manager for Advanced Career. She brings a variety of K-12 experience, including previously working as a career and technical teacher, an elementary teacher, and a campus and district administrator for career and technical education and magnet schools. Her expertise also spans comprehensive school reform, International Baccalaureate education, Montessori education and online education. While at SREB, Beth has worked with rural, suburban and urban school districts to improve school performance and the quality of educational experiences for middle and high school students.  She facilitated Advanced Career curriculum development in multiple states using face-to-face meetings and web tools. Beth holds doctorate and bachelor’s degrees from Stephen F. Austin State University and a master’s from the University of South Carolina.  She completed additional graduate work in learning design and technology from Harvard Extension School.
