This year’s Summit will feature the launch of SREB’s new Center for Innovative Faculty Development to support teaching faculty. Annual meetings of the SREB-State Data Exchange Coordinators and Education Technology Cooperative are by invitation.

Keynote Speakers
Keynote: “Addressing Postsecondary Education Student Needs Through Collaboration”
Professor Laura W. Perna is one of
the nation’s foremost researchers on college access and
affordability. Her scholarship focuses on how to ensure
that all people, regardless of demographic characteristics and
place of residence, have the opportunity to participate in and
benefit from high-quality higher education.
Keynote: ”Systemic Barriers for Underrepresented Students: College Access Beyond Affordability”
Phyllis A. H. Breland is
president of the Tri-State Consortium of Opportunity Programs in
Higher Education, and former president of New York State
Higher Education Opportunity Program Professional Organization
(HEOPPO). She works closely with junior high schools, high
schools, churches, community groups and organizations throughout
New York that support access to academic and personal enrichment.

Register for the SREB Center for Innovative Faculty Development
The Center will provide faculty with teaching and learning support, innovative ideas and best practices for student success. Registration is $350 per person, which covers lodging on September 14-15, meals and other conference expenses.
SREB Center for Innovative Faculty Development registrants should make their own travel arrangements for this event.
