Making Schools Work Conference Hotel

Connections Housing acts as the booking agent for our contracted conference hotels. To reserve a room, call Connections at (404) 842-0000 OR visit Connections’ website.

All conference events will be held at the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center. Registration opens on Tuesday, July 15 and ends on Friday, July 18.

Reservations must be made by Friday, May 23, 2025, to receive the SREB room rate. Housing for our conference tends to sell out quickly, so reserve your rooms as soon as you can. SREB’s conference rate expires June 23, 2025.

Conference hotels require a one-night deposit for each room reservation. By Friday, May 23, 2024, each room must list each occupant’s name and a valid method of payment for the one-night deposit. Credit cards and checks are considered valid methods of payment; school purchase orders will not be accepted.

Payment: A credit card is required to confirm all reservations when submitting a reservation online or when using a housing form. Connections Housing cannot accept purchase orders. Connections Housing also cannot accept tax-exempt payments.  Should your school or district be tax-exempt and/or need to pay via a purchase order, please contact your hotel directly after June 23, 2025.  

Check Payments: If you wish to pay by check, please call our call center directly at 404-842-0000 Monday through Friday 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. Eastern. They will take your reservation information and request an invoice from their accounting department to be sent to you directly so you may provide a check. Please do not send the check directly to Connections Housing without an invoice. All checks must be received by Connections Housing by June 2, 2025. Any checks received after this date will be mailed back to the sender and will need to be sent directly to the hotel for processing along with all pertinent reservation information.

If you want to prepay your rooms, please request a prepaid invoice from the housing team, and one will be sent to you by the Accounting Department at SREBHSTW@ConnectionsHousing.com. Payments are due 45 days prior to July 13th, 2025.

If you are paying with a Purchase Order or are Tax Exempt Connections Housing cannot take your payment, you will have to make arrangements with the hotel directly.

Room type: Conference hotels cannot guarantee room types, so your request for “King/Two Beds” is only a request. The hotel and Connections Housing will make every effort to accommodate all room type requests.

Refunds: Refunds will be given if cancellations are made at least seven (7) days prior to the scheduled date of arrival.
