Mark Covelle
Featured Speaker: Technology Centers That Work Learning Community
Mark Covelle is the Administrative Director of Middle Bucks Institute of Technology in Jamison, Pennsylvania, where he serves as the chief administrator for a shared-time career technical center serving students across 21 career programs.
His path into CTE was not a straight line. He began as a high school English teacher, moved through building and district-level administrative roles, and eventually found career and technical education. What he found there changed his view of what school can and should be.
Covelle speaks nationally on CTE leadership, school culture and the conditions that allow educators and students to do their best work. He is a frequent presenter at FETC, ACTE Vision and the NCLA Best Practices Conference, and he serves in elected leadership roles at the state and national level. He is a founding member of The CTE Collective, a community of educators, practitioners and advocates working to elevate the quality and visibility of career and technical education across the country. A frequent contributor to educational magazines, he is currently writing his first book on building culture, trust and capacity in schools.
