Bethany Wilson is the principal of Gladeville Middle School in Mt. Juliet, Tennessee, a school she opened in 2019. Under her leadership, Gladeville Middle School has achieved Level 5 Composite TVAAS Growth for five consecutive years and earned the designations of Reward School and Letter Grade A School for the last three years.

Wilson was selected as Tennessee’s NASSP Principal of the Year for the 2025-2026 school year and represented Tennessee at the NASSP National Education Leadership Awards in April.

Wilson’s commitment to upholding high expectations for all has contributed to Gladeville Middle’s continued success. By providing continual professional development in data analysis, establishing a strong PLC culture and keeping clear learning targets at the center of classroom conversations, GMS has been able to reach challenging proficiency targets.

U.S. News & World Report recently ranked Gladeville Middle School #24 in Tennessee Middle Schools and #1 in Wilson County.
