Tony D. Johnson is the President and CEO of Captivate Perspectives and Chancellor of The Institute for Lifelong Learning & Workforce Innovation. He oversees strategic planning, education and training development, project management, and fiscal operations while driving long-range growth initiatives and organizational effectiveness. 

With more than 20 years of leadership experience, Johnson has managed over $35 million in educational and workforce funds, advanced public education policy, and led programs supporting K–12, higher education, workforce development and special populations. 

His career spans roles as Provost, Chief Academic Officer, Vice President for Partnerships, Dean, State Schools Chief, Principal, Executive Director and university faculty member at institutions including Florida State University, Florida A&M University, and George Washington University. 

Johnson holds dual bachelor’s degrees, a master’s in Public Administration & Public Policy and a doctorate in Educational Leadership. 

He resides in the Washington, D.C. metro area.
