Making Schools Work Conference Hotel

Connections Housing acts as the booking agent for our contracted conference hotels. To reserve a room, call Connections at (404) 842-0000 OR visit Connections’ website.

All conference events will be held at the Gaylord Opry Resort & Convention Center in Nashville, Tennessee. Registration opens on Tuesday, July 9, at 9 a.m. Conference activities kick off with preconference sessions at 9:30 a.m. Central and our opening general session at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The conference ends at noon on Friday, July 12.

Reservations must be made by Tuesday, May 28, 2024, to receive the SREB room rate. Housing for our conference tends to sell out quickly, so reserve your rooms as soon as you can. SREB’s conference rate expires June 27, 2024.

Conference hotels require a one-night deposit for each room reservation. By Tuesday, May 28, 2024, each room must list each occupant’s name and a valid method of payment for the one-night deposit. Credit cards and checks are considered valid methods of payment; school purchase orders will not be accepted.

Payment: A credit card is required to confirm all reservations when submitting a reservation online or when using a housing form. Connections Housing cannot accept purchase orders. Connections Housing also cannot accept tax-exempt payments. Should your school or district be tax-exempt and/or need to pay via a purchase order, please contact your hotel directly after June 2, 2024.  

Check Payments: If you wish to pay by check, please call our call center directly at 404-842-000 Monday through Friday 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. Eastern. They will take your reservation information and request an invoice from their accounting department to be sent to you directly so you may provide a check. Please do not send the check directly to Connections Housing without an invoice. All checks must be received by Connections Housing by June 2, 2024. Any checks received after this date will be mailed back to the sender and will need to be sent directly to the hotel for processing along with all pertinent reservation information.

Room type: Conference hotels cannot guarantee room types, so your request for “King/Two Beds” is only a request. The hotel and Connections Housing will make every effort to accommodate all room type requests.

Refunds: Refunds will be given if cancellations are made at least seven (7) days prior to the scheduled date of arrival.

All rates for the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center quoted below are per night and exclusive of taxes, fees and the Opryland’s resort fee from July 9-12, 2024.
