Professional Development

Overview

Throughout the year, SREB offers a variety of professional development opportunities for the Making Middle Grades WorkHigh Schools That Work and Technology Centers That Work network sites.

We believe professional development is an ongoing, collaborative process involving all stakeholders. Leadership presence and support in particular is crucial for teacher buy-in and the success of an initiative.

Teams of academic and career and technical education teachers, counselors, administrators, and district and state leaders are encouraged to participate in order to implement the strategies they learn quickly and effectively.

National conferences, workshops, webinars, site-specific coaching and professional development allow schools and districts to select a format that works best with their school improvement plans and budgets.

Please contact our Professional Development Team for more information and to develop a school improvement plan that works best for you.
