Using Teaching Innovations and Technology to Redesign LPN-to-BSN Curriculum

Presenters will showcase East Tennessee State University’s LPN-to-BSN pathway, which provides the students with a highly student-focused and user-friendly program that draws on innovative teaching and technology strategies. Based on an educational needs assessment of LPNs from across Tennessee, researchers found LPN students had widely diverse educational backgrounds, so course designers developed a flexible program that resulted in high enrollments and completions.
