Tim Shaughnessy joined the Southern Regional Education Board in 2015 where he serves as director of career pathways and coordinates the SREB Dual Enrollment Initiative. Tim works with the school improvement team to develop and strengthen programs of study such as career pathways. These programs align the interest of students and the foundational learning of high school with the expectations of college and the needs of employers. 

Prior to SREB, Tim served as associate provost for academic affairs at Gateway Community and Technical College in Florence, Kentucky. He was a long tenured executive with Jewish Hospital and Saint Mary’s HealthCare and served over 20 years in the Kentucky Senate.
