Reflections and Wisdom from a Veteran Nursing Dean

At each annual CCEN conference, a retiring dean takes the podium
to share professional lessons learned about nursing education —
particularly about leadership and advocacy. It is be modeled on
the last speech of the professor in Jeffrey Zaslow’s
book The Last Lecture, reflecting on the
importance of family, heroes, mentors, job preparation and more.
During the webinar, one of the presenter’s colleagues will
interview Hufft, drawing on her to recount the highpoints of the
speech.
