Partnerships with States

General information

SREB partners directly state departments of education to reform groups of low-performing or non-improving high schools and middle grades schools using the HSTW and MMGW frameworks for school improvement. SREB works closely with state departments of education to provide these schools with sustained professional development through technical assistance, on-site coaching, networking opportunities, webinars, and state and national workshops.

The goal of these partnerships is to connect school, district and state leadership to help the schools implement improvement initiatives with fidelity. These partnerships frequently bring together the school improvement branch and the career-technical education branch of the state department of education in new ways to maximize the potential of career-technical education in broader high school reform.

State departments of education interested in contracting for direct services from SREB should contact Scott Warren or Steve Broome of SREB.
