This national workshop will give participants the framework and tools they need to make the necessary changes in their schools to ensure that ALL students leave the middle grades prepared for the rigors of high school. The goals are to increase the annual percentage of students who:

• Enter the ninth grade ready to succeed in college-ready language arts, mathematics, science and social studies courses
• Earn enough credit as first-time high school freshmen to be classified as sophomores the next year
• Enter the ninth grade having completed Algebra I to a validated performance level
