David Garcia manages and supports the work of open educational resources and the Education Technology Cooperative, where he advocates for open educational resources awareness at the local and national levels.  He joined SREB’s Postsecondary Education team in 2024 as a Program Specialist, bringing more than a decade of experience across numerous government and non-profit organizations. 

David is a first-generation college graduate who holds a bachelor’s of science degree in political science from American Military University and a master’s in public administration from Georgia State University.
