The Compact for Faculty Diversity’s Institute on Teaching and Mentoring is a national leader in addressing the shortage of minority faculty by providing racial/ethnic minority students with support and encouragement to complete their doctoral degrees and become college professors. Marking the 18th year of the annual event, this brochure looks at the legacy of the Institute, its growth, and the difference it is making in students’ careers and the community.
