This report summarizes conference discussions related to the role institutional advancement plays in addressing HBCU value, viability and sustainability at the 2022 inaugural Ideation, Innovation & Collaboration: The Future of HBCUs conference.

IIC 2022, hosted by the Higher Education Leadership Foundation, convened Historically Black college and university leaders from across the country to imagine the future of the HBCU sector and discuss successes, challenges, threats and opportunities facing HBCUs today.
