A Team-Taught Geometry-in-Construction Model: First Year Lessons Learned

This session from ACTE’s VISION 2012 meeting described how a math teacher and a construction teacher from Minneapolis Public Schools applied the NRCCTE’s Math-in-CTE model to create a blocked Geometry in Construction course. Presenters also described how the course aligns with Common Core Math Standards, shared data from the first year of implementation, and outlined plans to move toward a full STEM model.
