The CCR Bridge courses are two new courses for students who have completed the minimal requirements for college preparatory work with course grades of C- and/or D who still need support with the transition to college courses and with testing at the required level on placement assessments. The CCR Bridge courses will help students learn skills necessary to meet the requirements for college-level English and mathematics courses.

CCR Bridge: Literacy Ready

The course consists of six units,  in English Language Arts, history and science. Discipline-specific content is at the forefront of the curriculum; reading and writing skills specific to each discipline are emphasized. 

CCR Bridge: Math Ready

This course emphasizes understanding of  concepts rather than just memorizing procedures. By engaging students in real-world applications, Math Ready develops critical thinking skills that students will use in college and their career.
