ETC Annual Meetings

The Education Technology Cooperative provides opportunities for its pre-K through 20 state education agency members to connect at annual face-to-face meetings providing ready access to thought leaders from SREB states and around the country. The Cooperative conducts sessions on educational technology issues such as digital content, open educational resources, big data, predictive analytics, technology infrastructure, and improving online and blended teaching and learning. These opportunities for interaction keep members up-to-date and better able to understand the policies and practical issues related to ever-changing technology in pre-K through 20 learning environments.

The 2019 Annual ETC Meeting will be held in Atlanta, GA at the Renaissance Concourse Hotel, October 9-11, 2019. ETC members will receive travel details and registration information.

The 2018 Annual ETC Meeting was held in Louisville, Kentucky at the Seelbach Hilton Hotel September 12-14, 2018.

State Rep. Alan Baker Honored for 27 Years of Work in Education

ATLANTA – Alabama Rep. Alan Baker, an education leader who spent 27 years as a public school history teacher and coach in his state, is the recipient of the Southern Regional Education Board’s 2023 Jack Hill Champion of Education Award.

Baker received the award on June 11 at the SREB Annual Meeting in Atlanta.
