Stubbs is the educational technology coordinator of Georgia Virtual Technical Connection, part of the Technical College System of Georgia.

Frank Wells and David Couch, Kentucky

The ETC presented a Challenge Coin to Frank Wells and David Couch of the Kentucky Department of Education for their exceptional work in becoming the 1st state to reach the national goal of 100 kb in internet capacity for every K-12 student in Kentucky.

Bill Thomas, Myk Garn and Mike Abbiatti
2015

At the fall 2015 annual meeting, the Educational Technology Cooperative celebrated 20 years of service in education. The three previous directors, Bill Thomas, Myk Garn, and Mike Abbiatti, were awarded a Challenge Coin for significant contributions to technology education by the current director, Wanda Barker, and SREB vice president, Joan Lord. Bill Thomas served as director from 1996-2009, Myk Garn worked for the ETC as Associate Director and Director from 2008 to 2012. Mike Abbiatti served as the ETC Resource Leader and Director from 2012 to 2014.

Van Davis, formerly Director of Special Projects at the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board, was the first Educational Technology Cooperative Challenge Coin recipient. This award recognized Davis in the category of significant contributions to education for his longtime support and advocacy for the vision of educational technology in Texas and nationally.
