The SREB Teacher Induction
Framework defines high-quality teacher induction and details four
components necessary for well-rounded support from
leadership, mentor teachers, coaches and professional development
providers. The ultimate goals: improved student
outcomes, better teacher retention and stronger teacher
self-efficacy, or belief in their ability to handle the
challenges of the job.
