The Pathway Leadership Workshop Process
These workshops help high schools, technology centers and postsecondary partners determine how they can better leverage their resources to design and implement CTE programs or adopt out-of-the-box pathways like Advanced Career that jump-start postsecondary credential and degree attainment and career advancement.
SREB brings leaders from secondary and postsecondary education, industry and workforce development together to identify actions that enrich the senior-year experience and empower students to take advantage of career pathway options while also completing graduation requirements.
Workshops engage education leaders and their industry partners in establishing a common understanding of high-quality, Perkins-funded programs of study and career pathways.
They also provide states and districts with tools and resources for developing strategic plans to realign their programs with emerging careers, retire programs that no longer meet labor market needs, and develop new pathways in high-wage, high-skill, high-demand career fields.
