Sandy Walls-Culotta
Senior School Improvement Leadership Coach
Sandy Culotta is a senior school improvement leadership coach. She joined the Southern Regional Education Board in 2010 as a school improvement consultant. She brings more than 40 years of experience working on issues of education policy and practice in the public education sector. Sandy has provided consultant services to schools and districts in Florida, Georgia, Ohio, and New Jersey in the redesign of high schools based on the High Schools That Work’s (HSTW) framework. She previously served as the manager of project-based learning in career pathway courses.
Dale Winkler
Interim President and Senior Vice President, School Improvement
Dale Winkler is interim president of the Southern Regional Education Board. He was named vice president of school improvement in April 2018 and senior vice president July 2023.
His service as SREB interim president began June 22, 2025.
He joined the Southern Regional Education Board in 2015 as special assistant to the senior vice president of the organization’s school improvement team.
Winkler has decades of experience in leadership and policy in the areas of college and career readiness and career pathways, including leading two commissions on pathways at SREB.

Aimee Wyatt
Director, Leadership and Professional Learning
Aimee Wyatt is the Director of Leadership and Professional Learning for the Southern Regional Education Board. She develops tools to support continuous improvement efforts as well as provides professional learning for SREB staff, schools, districts and states. Formerly, she was the Executive Officer for High Schools for Metropolitan Nashville Public Schools and has over 30 years of experience as a district supervisor, executive principal, assistant principal, middle and high school teacher and consultant.
